Coach Travel<\/h3>\n

We know that great coach drivers can really make a huge difference to the success of a tour, and we therefore select our coach operator partners very carefully to do our utmost to provide the best possible experience to our travelling guests.<\/p>\n

All our UK Coach Operators have to conform to national and international regulations, and we audit them every three years to ensure ongoing compliance in accordance with our Safety Management System.<\/p>\n

Unlike many of our competitors, we only supply Executive Coaches for our tours to the continent, which means that they have:<\/p>\n

  • Air-conditioning or forced air ventilation<\/li>\n
  • Reclining Seats<\/li>\n
  • Toilet<\/li>\n
  • Hot drinks facilities<\/li>\n
  • DVD player<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    The majority of good coaches suitable for continental work are 49 seaters, and to ensure the best possible coaches are provided we encourage our groups to try to recruit according to this capacity. Larger capacity vehicles, including Double Deckers, may be available on request, are often older and provide less luggage space per passenger, and may even be subject to supplementary cost.<\/p>\n<\/div>

    Air Travel<\/h3>\n

    Subject to availability, we can offer flights with all airlines from all UK airports. Most low cost carriers operate a number of convenient routes from Regional Airports to our featured destinations.<\/p>\n

    As flight prices fluctuate considerably we cannot guarantee seats until they are available to book. Popular routes at busy times of the year will sell out very quickly so we recommend that you book as early as possible and we will do our utmost to secure your preferred route and airline.<\/p>\n

    All air transport is regulated by the Civil Aviation Authority to ensure safety standards.<\/p>\n<\/div>

    Ferry Travel<\/h3>\n

    Taking a Ferry from Dover to Calais is something of a rite of passage for British Schoolchildren. It affords a natural break in the tour for pupils to stretch their legs and is usually a convenient time to dine en-route to your destination. It\u2019s frequent and short – 41 sailings per day with numerous ferry companies, and a crossing time of around 1hr 45 minutes, and also normally the most economical way to cross the English Channel.<\/p>\n

    Other crossings available include:<\/p>\n

    • Western Route Crossings from Portsmouth to Caen, Cherbourg & Le Havre<\/li>\n
    • Plymouth to Roscoff<\/li>\n
    • Newhaven to Dieppe<\/li>\n
    • North Sea Ferry crossings overnight from Hull to Zeebrugge or Rotterdam, and Newcastle to Amsterdam.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      As a nationally regulated industry, all operators conform to required safety standards.<\/p>\n<\/div>

      Eurotunnel<\/h3>\n

      Crossing from Folkestone to Calais in just 35 minutes, travelling by Eurotunnel is an excellent option for shorter duration tours with packed itineraries.<\/p>\n

      Eurostar<\/h3>\n

      Departing from London (St Pancras), Ebbsfleet or Ashford, Eurostar is a convenient, environmentally friendly and cost effective option for small groups travelling to Paris. We will be pleased to also quote for connecting trains from your local station.<\/p>\n<\/div>

      Accommodation<\/h3>\n

      We have chosen to feature a wide variety of accommodation types on our website, ranging from basic Youth Hostels to 4 star Hotels. They have been selected due to their suitability for school group clients, based on a number of factors explained in their descriptions (for example: location, standard, affordability, convenience).<\/p>\n

      All of them are regularly audited and must comply with a specific set of regulations, detailed in our Safety Management System, which assure our guests of high Health and Safety standards.<\/p>\n

      Since there are many options available in most destinations, we are unable to feature all available accommodations on our website, but all properties booked for our groups must confirm to the above regulations. Should you request a specific accommodation that we don\u2019t normally feature, we are pleased to make bespoke arrangements for you as long as they too conform to the same H&S standards.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>
